THE Bacon and Egg Pie
Last week I was feeling terrible with yet another dose of the dreaded ‘flu (my third this year). So on Thursday night, when I had been working hard all day and really didn’t feel like cooking, it was such a treat for my 14-year-old Master J to announce that he would cook dinner for us.
He made THE BEST bacon and egg pie and served it up with a tossed salad on the side. Yummy! He even made a pastry rosette to decorate the top.
Here’s a photo - what do you think? I think his future wife will be very lucky

Oh, and he has a thing about making cheesecakes too. He made me a raspberry cheesecake for Mother’s Day so you might get one of those from him too.

As mothers of sons I believe we have a responsibility to raise our boys with their future girlfriends/wife in mind! Dirty clothes in the wash, help with housework and cooking and toilet seat down!
And Wendy, I’m sure Neil will get a cheesecake for his birthday.
