Kids… gotta love ‘em!
I was just reading a post over on Unique Kids’ mumspace about ‘The Gorilla Man’ and it reminded me of something funny that happened to me a few years ago.
For those who don’t know, I’m a solo-Mum and it’s just been my son and I in the home since he was a baby. One day when he was about 6 years old, he came tearing down the hall screaming, "Mum, Mum, come quick! There’s a husband in the bathroom!"
I ran down to the bathroom and sure enough, there he was… a huge, hairy, 8-legged Huntsman spider! I got him out the house quick smart!

That’s very funny…..kids have perfect timing with these sorts of comments. They seem to know just when we need a laugh!!
ROFLMAO!!! That’s so funny.
hahaha. What is worse? A husband or a huntsman?
From past experience Anne… I’ll take the huntsman
Oh that’s so funny!
My son who’s 3 can’t say the letter S very well, hence sleep becomes “Bleep”, song becomes “gong” etc., about 6 months ago he was looking particularly cute and I pronounced to him that he was a SPUNK! He looked at me and thought for a minute and then said “NO, I’m not a BUNK!”
It was the cutest thing.
Lol. I’m sure he’s the cutest lil BUNK around
LOL - you don’t want to know what it sounds like when Charley says “truck” - I have to stop myself from laughing!
My son is like Moondust’s and can’t say his “s’s” at all at present….and he is a big fan of Spiderman, needless to say we all refer to Spiderman as Piderman in our house
That’s cute! Remember the Bill Cosby show that used to be on, “Kid’s say the darnedest things”?
